Hospital entertainment systems
Most beds in hospital have a Hospedia bedside TV, radio, phone and entertainment system to help make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Services vary by hospital and ward.
Usually, patients can access free TV (Channels 1 to 5) between 8am and 12noon. On the children’s wards, free TV is available from 7am to 7pm.
The Hospedia unit offers free outbound phone calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers and to mobiles.
The Hospedia unit offers free radio.
Charges may apply for extra TV channels, TV Box sets, internet and audiobooks.
