Speaking up your to your line manager

Speak up to your line manager

If you have a concern about a danger, risk, malpractice or wrongdoing at work, we hope you will feel able to raise it first with your line manager or lead clinician. This may be verbally, by email or by letter.

If your concerns relates to your line manager/lead clinician or you feel unable for whatever reason to discuss the concern with them, or if you have raised it with your line manager already and are unhappy with the outcome, you can also raise any concerns with a more senior leader such as your service lead or matron.
