Stroke Medicine

Ipswich Hospital

I qualified at the Bart’s & London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2004. Following most of my junior doctor medical rotations in Essex and Suffolk I was appointed to the Geriatric Medicine Specialty programme in the East of England Deanery.

I also undertook a year of sub-specialist training for stroke medicine at Southend University Hospital.  I completed my training in 2014. I worked at West Suffolk Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and at Southend University Hospital at the start of my Consultant career before deciding to settle at Ipswich hospital.

I look after patients who have suffered a stroke and those with general medical problems.

We are looking to consolidate our position in the region to drive up the quality of the service provided for Suffolk residents providing a complete stroke pathway in keeping with the National Stroke Strategy and Stroke Improvement National Audit Programme (SINAP).
