I started in my role as Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician and Gynaecology Oncology Lead in April 2019 at Colchester General Hospital.
I completed my basic medical training with post-graduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India. I then completed further Obstetrics and Gynaecology speciality training in the East of England deanery. I have completed clinical fellowship in gynaecology oncology at the Christie Hospital in Manchester. I have a Bachelor of medicine / Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) degree, Master of Surgery (MS) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a Member of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG).
I look after women with confirmed and suspected gynaecological cancer. I am a trained laparoscopic and robotic surgeon.
I am a member of BGCS (British Gynaecology Cancer Society), BIARGS (British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons).
The Society of European Robotic Gynaecologists (SERGS) certified me as an accredited robotic surgeon.
My other interests include travelling and reading.

I have worked at Ipswich Hospital since February 2018. Prior to this I worked in Glasgow and Norwich as a Gynaecology Oncology Fellow undertaking specialist training in the surgical management of gynaecological cancers. I did my Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist training in the East of England Deanery, working at Ipswich Hospital as a SHO and Registrar. I look after women with cancers and pre-cancers of the ovary, womb, cervix, vulva and vagina. This includes planning operations, following up women after surgery and non-operative treatments as well.
