I am part of the team currently working towards JACIE accreditation for the hospital autologous stem cell transplantation program. Involvement in clinical trials is important, the hospital hopes to be in a position to offer patients entry into clinical trials in the main lymphoma subtypes in the near future.

I have been a Consultant Haematologist at Ipswich Hospital since 2006. I trained in London and Cambridge and my research fellowship and MD from UCL London were in coagulation in Von Willebrand’s disease.
I welcome referrals and I am happy to give advice in all aspects of general haematology, in particular for patients with bleeding or thrombotic problems. My qualifications are FRCP, MD and FRCPath.

I have been a Consultant haematologist since 2011 and had worked at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust before joining Colchester Hospital in February 2018.
I have a wide and varied experience in managing patients with blood disorders, gained through training at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals in London. I have developed specialist interest in the areas of thrombosis, myeloproliferative disorders and red cell disorders.
I have forged strong links with other national experts in these fields allowing patients access to clinical trials and expert opinions whenever necessary.
