  • Disabled people, frequent outpatient attenders and parents of sick children staying in hospital overnight receive free car parking under national guidance. Definitions of these groups and further information can be found on the Government website. (Opens in a new window)

Disabled drivers

Disabled and self-driving renal patients can park for free. There are wheelchair access spaces adjacent to the main entrance doors and in the patients and visitors car park.

If you have a blue badge you must take it to the security office, so it can be registered on the parking management system. The security office is located in the main entrance foyer on the left hand side, opposite the reception desk. You will not have to do this again when you park at the PCC, until your blue badge expires as the ANPR system will recognise your number plate when you visit again.

Blue Badge holders must not park on double yellow lines or hatched areas.

If you are not able to register your Blue Badge in person at the hospital, please email the travel plan team.
