Colchester Hospital

We work in the community and in the hospital’s outpatient departments with adults with a neurological conditions

You can be referred to us by:

  • Nurse
  • GP
  • Consultant
  • Other healthcare professional that you see

R.E.A.C.T

We run this service in the hospital. In some cases we can even avoid people needing to be admitted into hospital at all.  We can see you:

  • At home
  • In the Emergency department
  • EAU
  • T & O enhanced recovery

Staying in hospital

Ward information

We visit all the wards at the hospital Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

We visit the Emergency department Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm.

At the weekends we cover only the Emergency department and Stroke Unit – from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Ipswich Hospital

Occupational Therapy services at Ipswich Hospital cover:

  • Fragility Assessment Base ( F.A.B )
  • Hand therapy service
  • Neuro splinting
  • Rheumatology
  • Neurology
