MSK Exercise classes
We run a variety of exercise classes in our department.
If appropriate, your physiotherapist may choose to include you in these classes.
Upper Limb Exercise Classes
- Shoulder class
- Proximal Humeral Fracture Class
Lower Limb Exercise Classes:
- Ankle Class
- Early ACL Class
- Intermediate Leg Class (ILC)
- Advanced Leg Class (ALC)
- Enhanced Total Knee Replacement Class (TKR)
- Total Hip Replacement Class (THR)
- Fractured Neck Of Femur Class (NOF)
Class checklist
- Wear appropriate clothing: Shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms with a t-shirt or hoodie.
- Wear appropriate footwear. This is normally trainers that are supportive for running. If you are in a boot, please bring a pair of shoes as your therapist may require you to practice exercises in normal footwear.
- Bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated
- Bring a sweat towel
- If you have any allergies or cardiac/cardiorespiratory conditions, please bring the appropriate medication with you (inhalers, epinephrine pens, GTN spray).
