Ipswich Hospital’s Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic set to move

Our Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic at Ipswich Hospital is moving from Monday 12 June.

The service is moving temporarily to a new building at the south end of the hospital, not far from the existing clinic.

There will be a dedicated drop-off / pick-up zone for patients in car park F, which is the main visitor car park straight over the roundabout as you arrive at the hospital via Heath Road. It’s a short walk to the clinic from there (marked as “3” on the map below).

The clinic is moving as part of a Big Build programme at the hospital which is creating a new A&E, Urgent Treatment Centre and operating theatres. The old, existing Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic is being renovated to become part of the new A&E. Once that opens next year, the Orthopaedic and Fracture Clinic will leave its temporary home and move to a brand new clinic space on the ground-floor of the Garrett Anderson Centre building.

Thanks for bearing with us while we build a better hospital.
