Working with ESNEFT’s patients, carers and community
We believe that involving patients and carers helps us think about things from your point of view and can help us improve the services we provide. We want to work in partnership with you to improve everything we do.
The Trust appreciates and welcomes the support of patients, carers, family members, representatives from voluntary and community groups who would like to give their time to help the Trust understand how the services meet the needs of the local community.
If you are interested in finding out more about getting involved, please phone us on 01473 704 353 or email the patient experience team.
Join us and share your experiences
We want to hear about your experience at our hospitals and in the community.
Patient panels are forums where you can share your experiences and provide us with your views. Groups meet throughout the year to help us decide what care should look like, going forward and review patient feedback. This would be your opportunity to get involved in projects about the future of healthcare in your area.
Members can get involved in patient panels in a way that suits them. Members can take part by email, phone or at meetings. We want to hear from you and are inclusive of all backgrounds in the communities we serve. We will provide you with a safe space to share ideas.
Our current patient panels you may wish to join include:
- Cancer (a joint Ipswich and Colchester hospitals group)
- Diabetes (an Ipswich Hospital group)
- Youth forums
If you want to join an area not listed, let us know and we can look into setting up a panel.
Our Patient Experience team support all groups. We would love to hear your feedback and invite you to join any of our panels.
