Whether you recently visited one of our hospitals, attended an outpatient appointment, received maternity care or used one of our services, we’d like to hear about your experience through our Friends and Family Test (FFT).
The Friends and Family Test gives patients, families and carers an opportunity to share feedback about the care they have received. NHS organisations use this feedback to understand what is working well and where services can improve.
We want to hear about the moments that made a difference to you. Perhaps a member of staff went the extra mile, or a team made you feel supported during a difficult time. Sharing those experiences helps us recognise great care and learn from what works well and what people like to see by example.
We also want to know if there are things we could have done better. Understanding what matters most to patients and identify opportunities to improve services for the future can really help our nursing leadership team.
Your comments will be reviewed alongside feedback from other patients to help identify themes, celebrate success and shape improvements across the Trust.
Anne Rutland, Deputy Chief Nurse (Quality), explains “Listening to our patients is an essential part of improving healthcare. Every piece of feedback helps us better understand the experiences of the people who use our services.
“Whether you’d like to tell us about excellent care or share ideas about how we can improve, your views are important. It help us continue to develop services that meet the needs of our patients, families and communities.”
The Friends and Family Test is quick, easy and anonymous to complete. Every response helps us build a clearer picture of patient experience and supports our commitment to providing high-quality care.
