The maternity unit at Clacton Hospital is temporarily moving to a new home while work to upgrade and improve the building takes place.
From Thursday 26 September, the unit will move from the second floor of the main hospital in Tower Road to ground floor space in a different part of the building.
Pregnant people and their families will no longer be able to access the unit using entrance three, and will instead need to use entrance two. They will still be able to park in the same place.
Signs are being put up on site to show people where to go, while appointment letters will also explain the new arrangements.
The unit will remain in its temporary home until work to create a new, easy to access maternity area on the ground floor is complete.
