Share your views and help us improve our maternity care

The parents of babies born at Ipswich Hospital are being invited to share their views on the care they received to help make sure every family has the best possible experience when welcoming their new arrival.

The interactive maternity experience workshop, called “whose shoes”, has been arranged to give parents the chance to talk openly about where the hospital does well and areas where it could do better. Fun, creative and energetic, it will give them the chance to share their insights in a relaxed, inclusive and informal environment with the aim of improving care and ensuring every family is treated with dignity, compassion and respect.

The workshop takes place in the Edith Cavell Room in the hospital’s Education Centre on Friday 27 September between 9.30am and 12 noon. Parents are welcome to bring their children and refreshments will be provided.

Anyone who would like to attend should email Helen.L.Smith@esneft.nhs.uk to register.
