Who comes to the Surgical Assessment Unit at ESNEFT?

You will come to the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) if:

• you have seen your GP and they have arranged for you to come in for tests or treatment
• you have come to the Emergency Department, been seen and accepted as a surgical patient

At Colchester, SAU is a separate ward on the ground floor of the main block.
