Clinic times
Visiting times:
- 11.00am-8:00pm
Only two visitors at a time and no children under 12
Meal times:
- Breakfast: 8.00am-9.00am
- Lunch: 12.00pm-1.00pm
- Dinner: 5pm-6pm
Please note: Lunch and dinner on this ward are protected meal times. This allows us to make sure our patients get the time and support they need for their meal.
However, relatives are very welcome to come and sit with patients if they feel that would benefit the patient at mealtimes.
Who comes to the Surgical Assessment Unit at ESNEFT?
You will come to the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) if:
- you have seen your GP and they have arranged for you to come in for tests or treatment
- you have come to the Emergency Department and already been seen and accepted as a surgical patient
