Physiotherapy for pregnancy, pelvic floor, bladder and bowel problems
Pregnancy problems
We are a team who will see you in pregnancy and for up to 12 months after you have given birth. We can see you for any of the following problems:
- back pain
- pelvic pain
- carpal tunnel syndrome in pregnancy
- vaginal prolapse
- urinary incontinence
- faecal incontinence
- painful haemorrhoids, stitches or c-section scar pain postnatally
- separation of abdominal muscles
- any other joint problems in pregnancy
You can refer yourself to our pregnancy service

We also treat men, women and children for symptoms such as;
- urinary incontinence
- faecal incontinence
- constipation
- prolapse
- pelvic pain
- pain during intercourse
Your GP, consultant or nurse will arrange your referral to our service, so please see them as your first point of contact.
Before they refer you to us, your GP, consultant or nurse will arrange screening to rule out an infection or other underlying problem which should be treated in a different way.
