I am the ESNEFT Lead for end of life care and Clinical Lead for Palliative care at Colchester Hospital.

I have worked for the Trust since 2011 and I see people with complex symptoms who have a life-limiting or life-threatening illness.

I am the Clinical Lead for palliative care at Ipswich Hospital.

I work jointly with Ipswich Hospital and St Elizabeth Hospice to provide specialist palliative care to all patients with life-limiting conditions, malignant or non-malignant.

I have worked as a Consultant in Colchester since 2010 and prior to this was a Consultant at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford for 5 years.  I have a Masters degree in medical ethics from Keele University and am particularly interested in ensuring best ethical practice is used in the palliative care setting.

I have worked in Colchester since April 2016. Prior to this I was the medical lead at St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney, East London. I have a degree in medical law and ethics.

I am the education lead for palliative care at Colchester Hospital and I am currently developing communication skills training for hospital staff managing patients and families at the end of life.

I have an interest in motor neurone disease, respiratory and kidney disease.
