Changing or cancelling an appointment at Ipswich pain clinic
Cancel or change your appointment
It is very important that you let us know in advance if you need to cancel or change an appointment. If you let us know in time, we can rebook your appointment and let someone else have your original slot. This helps us to reduce waiting times.
If you fail to attend an appointment without warning us in advance, then in line with Hospital policy we will discharge you from the service. All future appointments or procedures you have booked with the Ipswich pain clinic will be cancelled.
Change or cancel a follow-up appointment
Please contact the pain management reception desk. If the receptionist cannot take your call, you can leave a message on the answering machine. Please remember to state clearly:
- your full name
- your date of birth
- your hospital number (if you know it)
- the date and time of the appointment
Tell us whether you would like to cancel and/or change your appointment. If you want to rebook it, we will contact you to offer you another appointment.
