Blood tests

Blood tests at ESNEFT hospitals and local phlebotomy clinics

Blood tests have a wide range of uses and are one of the most common types of medical test. Taking the blood sample is also called phlebotomy – you might find this term used in some of our services.

A blood test can be used to:

  • assess your general state of health
  • check if you have an infection
  • see how well certain organs, such as the liver and kidneys, are working
  • screen for certain genetic conditions

Booking blood test appointments

There are no walk-in blood test services. You must make an appointment.

You can book a blood test appointment at any of the locations shown on the ESNEFT pathology website. The website also has information about service times at each location.
