About this service

Anticoagulant monitoring

This service is provided at Ipswich Hospital only.

Anticoagulants are medicines that help prevent blood clots.

We give them to people at a high risk of getting clots, to reduce their chances of having a stroke or a heart attack.

We monitor patients who are on anticoagulants such as Warfarin.

You can contact the service on 01473 703 228 between 10am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-4pm Monday to Friday. You can leave an answerphone message at other times.  You can contact us by email at ams@esneft.nhs.uk
