East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) has welcomed back two former non-executive directors (NEDs) with a raft of experience in finance and steering transformation projects.
Elaine Noske and Diane Leacock will act as interims and will serve on the Board for the next six months. They bring with them extensive experience at ESNEFT after previously serving as NEDs, and have been appointed to make sure the Board is fully constituted until coronavirus restrictions are eased and a full competitive appointment process can take place.
Mrs Noske has held a variety of roles during 20 years with BT, and has vast experience of transformation projects and in research and development. She originally served as a NED with ESNEFT from May 2016 to November 2018.
Mrs Leacock has extensive board and finance experience including several years as finance director within a variety of industries. She originally served as a NED between 2014 and 2018.
Both NEDs were appointed by a virtual recruitment panel and approved by the council of governors. As a result of their previous experience with ESNEFT, they have not needed any additional training before taking up their roles.
The two vacancies arose after Helen Taylor was appointed as ESNEFT chair and Julie Parker was appointed as a NED at Mid and South Essex Hospital.
