Green-fingered gardeners with some time to spare are being invited to give something back during volunteers’ week by helping out in the gardens at Colchester Hospital.
Everyone is welcome to join the volunteering session, which takes place between 10am and 12.30pm on Friday (2 June).
Volunteers will be asked to roll their sleeves up and help tidy the outside space ahead of the summer. They will also be given the chance to find out more about the hospital’s new Royal Horticultural Society wellbeing garden.
Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided. Anyone who attends should wear suitable clothing and footwear.
