Find out more about diabetes prevention and treatment at a health talk by our internationally renowned consultant Professor Gerry Rayman.
Professor Rayman is Consultant Diabetologist at the Diabetes Centre at Ipswich Hospital, NHS Diabetes Clinical Lead for inpatient diabetes and Chair of Diabetes UK’s Diabetes Research study group for acute care.
His work has led to continuing improvement for inpatient care of people with diabetes. He was also responsible for setting up an award-winning initiative, the National Diabetes COVID-19 Response Group Collaborative. The collaborative brought together a group of diabetes experts to develop guidance to support patients with COVID-19.
Professor Rayman will be giving the talk at Ipswich County Library in Northgate Street, Ipswich, IP1 3DE from 11.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday 28 June.
The talks are arranged by the Council of Governors at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Ipswich and Colchester Hospitals.
