Changes being made to patient/visitor car park F at Ipswich Hospital

We are making some changes in Ipswich Hospital patient / visitor car park F and apologise for disruption tomorrow (Thursday 11 November 2021).

This is the car park straight ahead as vehicles drive onto the hospital site from the main Heath Road entrance.

The work involves creating a new drop-off zone and some new disabled parking spaces.

Hospital staff will be in the car park to help direct traffic and minimise disruption.

Most of the work will happen after 4.30pm when the car park is quieter, but some areas will be closed off earlier in the day to make sure the space is clear and safe.

There are other nearby car parks, in car parks D, J and B.

There are a number of big building projects going on at Ipswich Hospital with millions of pounds being invested to make sure our patients have the best possible environments. Please bear with us – the disruption is only short-term and we will be hugely improving your hospital as a result.

Remember, visiting our hospital is currently restricted due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) safety guidelines. The latest guidance on visiting is on our website here – Temporary suspension of visiting in Suffolk hospitals – East Suffolk & North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (esneft.nhs.uk)
