Medical and Dental Pay and Conditions Arrears
The Department of Health and Social Care has recently confirmed the revised pay arrangements for Doctors in Training which apply from 1 April 2023.
The revised payscales apply to individuals employed by a NHS Employer on or after the 1 April 2023, and applies to those who have changed positions, employer or left the NHS since this date.

Arrears owing will be paid into the bank account held on our payroll system, ESR, as at 31 October 2024 for all eligible individuals. An email from esr.info@esneft.nhs.uk has been sent to those identified as eligible to the last email address held on file with ESNEFT requesting confirmation of active bank details.
All eligible individuals are required to complete an online form to verify the details held are correct or to advise if they are incorrect. Complete the online form to confirm your details (Opens in a new window)
Individuals whose bank details have changed will need to arrange for an online video call with a member of the medical staffing or payroll support team before 6 December 2024 in order for their bank details to be updated. Please note ESNEFT are unable to update bank account details for leavers without a video call.
