Wheelchair services in East Suffolk and North Essex

The Wheelchair Service assess your mobility, postural and pressure care needs in line with eligibility criteria. We will assess your physical and mental health and the support you have from family, friends and carers. We will also consider where you live, your daily routines and your daily transport needs.

We can provide a wide range of mobility support. This includes buggies, manual and powered wheelchairs. We also provide equipment to help with postural support and pressure care.

North East Essex Wheelchair Service

The Wheelchair Service is based at Clacton Hospital. Our team visit other hospitals, patient’s homes, residential homes, nursing homes, schools and workplaces.

Ipswich and east Suffolk wheelchair service

Community equipment and wheelchair services is provided by a partnership between West Suffolk Hospital, ESNEFT and Medequip.

Ross Care carry out wheelchair repairs and maintenance to NHS supplied wheelchairs.
