Members of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) are being encouraged to cast their vote in an election to decide new members of its Council of Governors.
The election, which began today (21 October), will fill public and staff seats in Colchester and Ipswich, as well as public governor seats in the rest of Suffolk and south Norfolk.
Staff and public members of the Trust were invited to nominate themselves as candidates for election during September. Ballot packs have now been sent to public and staff members, who are able to cast their votes until 5pm on Friday 13 November.
The successful candidates will be declared on Monday 16 November.
ESNEFT will hold a further election for the remaining staff and public seats in spring 2021. Anyone who would be interested in standing for election as a governor in the future, should sign up to become a member of the Trust.
