The plastic surgery team and dermatology team at Ipswich Hospital work very closely together – our aim is to offer a seamless service for patients with skin cancer at Ipswich Hospital.

If you need surgery, you may be treated in the dermatology and plastic surgery department as a day case, or the plastic surgeons may need to treat you in the Raedwald Day Surgery Unit in the Garrett Anderson Centre.

After surgery, we will see you in clinic and we will discuss the results of your surgery, answer any questions you have, and fully explain any further treatment.

Some patients need to receive further care at the specialist skin cancer centre at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital (Opens in a new window).
