Help us improve the quality of our services

Complete a short questionnaire to tell us which of our potential priorities you think we should be focusing on for our annual accounts report.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) is asking patients, carers, the public and staff to help choose our key areas for improvement, known as our quality priorities for 2023/24. This is part of a process to make sure we are continuing to deliver safe, effective services and the best possible experience for patients receiving care at one of our hospitals or in the community.

The Trust, which runs Ipswich and Colchester hospitals as well as a range of community services, has developed nine priorities and is asking for people’s views on which they feel are the most important so that they can be taken forward and given extra focus during the year.

Giles Thorpe, chief nurse at ESNEFT, said: “We are committed to providing safe, effective services and the best possible experience for all of our patients who are receiving care at one of our hospitals or within the community.

“We are asking our patients, their families, the public and our staff and stakeholders to help us decide our priorities so that we can make sure we are focusing on what is important to the communities we serve in the year ahead.

“I would like as many people as possible to spare a few minutes to complete our short questionnaire. Your input will make a real difference and we look forward to hearing from you.”

ESNEFT’s Board will take all of the feedback received into account when making a final decision during March. The quality priorities will be published in the summer as part of the Trust’s annual Quality Account report.

The survey is open now and closes Sunday 26 February 2023.
