You may have seen in the news that hospitals have been asked by NHS Blood & Transplant to protect blood stocks after supply levels dropped across the country.
If you are coming to one of our hospitals, please make sure you attend your hospital appointment or operation date unless you hear from us to advise otherwise. Services will continue to run as usual while our teams work through our response.
We are unable to accept blood donations at our hospitals for safety reasons so if you’d like to make a donation of blood, please visit the www.blood.co.uk website where you can find venues to donate locally. Thank you.
