A section of busy footpath near our Outpatients entrance at Ipswich Hospital will be closed for four days this week. New parking technology is being introduced at Ipswich Hospital next week to make it easier and more convenient for everyone to park. Mobile treatment units at Ipswich Hospital are on the move and we apologise for some disruption to a visitor car park. There are currently two mobile units outside the Trauma and Orthopaedic department at the south end of the hospital (pictured, below). A planning application is being prepared to provide additional car parking facilities for staff on the Colchester Hospital site. The proposal is for a single-storey deck car park on top of the lower half of Car Park K (behind the villas) to provide around 140 additional spaces.
