Bus route 77 stops outside the hospital and is operated by Arriva.

By car or motorbike
Leave the A12 at junction 28. Take Via Urbis Romanae, and the A134 Northern Approach which becomes Turner Road and Westway. Take the A124 onto Southway. The hospital is on the left.
There is a pay and display car park for patients and visitors. Car parking is very limited, so please use the Park & Ride service when possible. The Park & Ride terminus is near junction 28 of the A12. The Park & Ride service runs to Head Street which is a short walk to the hospital via Rawstorn Road and Crouch Street.

Parking is free for disabled drivers who have a Blue Badge. There are wheelchair access spaces in the car park.

Colchester has two railway stations.
Colchester Rail Station (COL) is 1.6 miles from the hospital. The station has a taxi rank. Bus 65 runs between the train station and the hospital. The Park & Ride service runs to Head Street which is a short walk to the hospital via Rawstorn Road and Crouch Street.
Colchester Town Station (CET) is 0.7 miles from the hospital. The station does not have a taxi rank. Buses 65, 70, 71, 83B and 88 run from the nearby town centre to the hospital. The hospital is a 15 minute walk from Colchester Town train station.
