We can provide a listening ear, the staff and volunteers are here to support you, please come into the centre or ring us so we can help you through this difficult period.
Information and advice
The centre has many leaflets and a small library of books which you are able to access, we can either provide these to you or we can order on your behalf from our resources.
You may find that you need additional support and equipment at home, we are able to provide with details of services and organisations that can help you.
Macmillan provide grants to help with extra expenses incurred by your cancer diagnosis, we can also signpost you to other charities who can also offer financial support. Within the centre we have details of organisations that can offer benefit advice.
Please contact us if you would like support with your children we have a Macmillan Family Support worker who is here to support you and your family.
A counselling service is available for both patients and their families.

Cancer organisations, websites, telephone helplines and magazines
We want to try and encourage people who wish to search the internet for information to visit recommended UK websites.
There are many national charity organisations, dedicated to specific types of cancer, that also have helplines, newsletters or conferences you might be interested in. Please ask us and we will happily provide you with contact details. We also stock a number of different magazines on different cancers that you can have a copy of if you wish.
