Bereavement services
We have bereavement suites at both Colchester and Ipswich hospitals where you can meet with a bereavement officer. We provide help and advice on a range of matters concerning death registration, deaths referred to the Coroner and funeral arrangements.
We arrange for the completion of the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death which you need in order to register the death.
We can arrange appointments in the hospital mortuary for you to visit your loved one.
