The WiFi systems at Colchester and Ipswich hospitals are being upgraded this week so it’s easier for visitors to use.
East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the two hospitals, is introducing a system which is more secure and makes it easier for patients and visitors to log-on. The new system goes live on Friday, 1 February.
Visitors will be asked to connect to ‘NHS Free WiFi’ when they go online (rather than the old WiFi Spark option at Colchester, and IHT Public WiFi option at Ipswich).
