Supporting our patients and carers
We understand the importance of support groups for our patients and carers. It is a group with common experiences and concerns who provide emotional and moral support for one another.
It is an opportunity for people to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about diseases or treatments. For many people, a health-related support group may fill a gap between medical treatment and the need for emotional support.
Family Carers Survey
A multi-agency group including family carer representatives, Suffolk County Council, the clinical commissioning groups, health and Suffolk Family Carers have designed a survey to find out what matters to carers about support in their role as a carer.
They want to hear about your experiences of support for family carers in Suffolk. The information you give will be used to assess what is currently working well for family carers and to identify any gaps in services for family carers. They want to know what works well, what could be improved and what’s missing.
All answers will be used anonymously so please do answer openly and honestly. Click here to access the survey.
If you want to withdraw any information you have given, please contact Helen Robinson on 01473 260354 (9am – 4pm Monday to Friday) or by email email@example.com putting the word ‘survey’ in the title. The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete. It closes on Thursday, 22 November 2018.
