Patients, carers and the public have been invited to East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust’s (ESNEFT) next board meeting, which takes place next Thursday (1 August).
During the meeting, a patient will describe their experience of receiving care at the trust, which runs Colchester and Ipswich hospitals as well as a wide range of community health services.
The board will also look at ESNEFT’s finances, as well as the way the trust is performing against government indicators, such as cancer waiting times and referral to treatment targets.
Board chair Helen Taylor and chief executive Nick Hulme will also give verbal reports on issues affecting ESNEFT and the wider NHS.
Anyone with an interest in healthcare is welcome to attend and will be given the chance to ask questions.
The meeting will run from 9.30am to midday in seminar rooms 2 and 3 at the Post Graduate Medical Centre at Colchester Hospital. Agenda papers will be available at www.esneft.nhs.uk a few days before the meeting.
